He completed his engineering in Computer Science and did M.A in Defence and Strategic studies further M.Phil in Center for South and Southeast Asian studies from the University of Madras, Chennai. His research interest centres on constructivist approaches to geo-politics, Conflict resolution, Defence strategies and Modernization, Maritime Security Issues, South and Southeast Asian Countries. His interest also includes innovations in science and technology, Space exploration, drones, robotics and strategies of modern warfare. He was a Research Officer in Chennai Centre for China Studies and Associated with Center for Asia Studies. He has presented papers in various national and international conferences across India. He published his book on “Brahmaputra The Strategic Water Resource of India" in 2021 and "India’s Strategic Guardian of the Sky: IRNSS” in 2016.
